Girls Basketball coach Amber Branson reaches a milestone.
Launch the media gallery 1 playerAt the beginning of the month, we were able to celebrate a huge milestone with our very own Varsity Girls Head Basketball Coach, Amber Branson.
Entering this season, Branson was aware of the upcoming occasion. On Dec 1st after the victory over Central Heights, Coach Amber Branson celebrated her 400th win. This achievement reminded Branson of many moments over her 16 years as a Lipan Head Coach. For instance, the girls first state championship back in 2016, where Lanie Roberts, present elementary teacher, set the state scoring record, to the next state championship in 2021.
Branson appreciates every outstanding team that led her to this moment.
“We have had a lot of great players, coaches and school support in order to achieve this,” Branson said. “I am truly thankful and blessed.”
We are tremendously proud of you Coach Branson and cannot wait to celebrate many more wins.
